In a skillet saute hamburger with garlic, chopped onion and parsley (optional)
15 min
2
Preheat oven to 350 F
3
Carve top of French bread in a circle (leaving a "cap" that you will replace on top later). Cut out of the French bread base, in other words, hollow it out in the middle. Break up the bread innards into small pieces and set aside in a medium size bowl.

4
To the bread crumbs, add the browned hamburger mixture, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and seasonings to taste (salt and pepper).
5 min
5
Mix ingredients well and restuff this mixture back into the hollowed out French bread shell. Top with cheese and replace the top you cut off earlier back on top.

6
Wrap in aluminum foil and back at 350 F for 20 minutes. This will melt the cheese and help the flavors combine.

7
Slice and serve. You can wrap the pieces individually and freeze to take to work. Pop in the microwave for a quick lunch.
